Prune and apple puree (use to replace sugar for breakfast and baking)
Who needs sugar?
Here’s an alternative to sugar for breakfasts and baking.
A lot of vegan recipes call for unsweetened apple sauce. I couldn’t find any so made this:
You will need a powerful blender such as a Vita Mix. If not then peel and core the apples and make this in a food processor.
In a vita mix blend 3-4 apples (washed and quartered) with 2/3rds of a container of pitted prunes in apple juice.
Blend till smooth and refrigerate.
